Tremella polysaccharides was extracted from the fruiting body of Tremella fuciformis. They contains xylose, mannose, glucose, etc. They can raise the level of immunoglobulin, promote the formation of protein nucleic acid, regulate blood sugar and enhance the body’s immunity, for bronchitis, radiation and chemotherapy-induced leukopenia.
Tremella polysaccharides are known to have antioxidant and humoral effects, as well as anti-tumor cell-mediated and humoral immunity. They also inhibit tumor cell growth in cancer patients following chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Tremella polysaccarides can dilate coronary artery, reduce coronary resistance, improve microcirculation of coronary artery, increase myocardial nutrient blood flow, lower blood lipid, lower blood viscosity and reduce thrombosis.
